Are all three of the MaxxFans that you have the same style of vent? You said that 2 of the 3 won't open fully but one of them does. Normally the roof vents do not open that far so I'd almost think that if there was a problem it would be on the third vent that opens too far. Could I see pictures possibly?

The psi max is when the tire is inflated cold. As you drive and as ambient temps change the psi will increase, but the manufacturer accounts for that change in their psi recommendations. You want to inflate to the max psi prior to your trip to give you the rated load capacity as well as the best traction. Adjusting that can cause your tires to not function as intended and overheat which is the leading cause of failure.
